Meet the Team
Sharing food, laughs and music was just part of my life growing up within a Korean American immigrant household. I was lucky enough to grow up in a family full of individuals who loved to come together to eat good food, which has had long lasting impact on my life. After spending over a decade working in Operations and HR for a variety of corporations and organizations, I felt the pull to do something that brought me closer to my community.
I am excited to bring the food and culture that I grew up with to Durham and share some unique tastes with the community that I love.

Hi, I’m Andrew, aka the Ramyun Sommelier at Dosirak. Although this title is a bit tongue in cheek, I am in fact a certified wine sommelier. These days I’m excited to be diving into all the cool products we are bringing into the store, especially our ramyun. I enjoy trying our products and finding fun ways to describe them that make them less intimidating to our customers. When I’m not at the store, I tend to be reading some sort of book on Korean history or cooking a tasty meal to enjoy with friends along with a delicious bottle of wine.
